Cardiac Imaging
|
We have developed experience in optimal cardiac imaging for transcatheter heart valve implantation using a combination of fluoroscopy, 2D/3D echocardiographic imaging and intracardiac ultrasound imaging. Transthoracic, transesophageal and intracardiac echocardiography is performed using our Siemens PRIME SC2000 system. Fluoroscopy imaging is performed with a Philips high resolution C-arm, and together we have established a hybrid operating room for all structural heart interventions. (Videos on the left) depict a baseline angiogram and ventriculogram on the top, and at the bottom is a similar angio/ventriculogram after left circumflex occlusion.
