POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN CARDIOVASCULAR BIOMECHANICS:
We are seeking applicants to fill a post-doctoral fellow position with focus on experimental cardiovascular biomechanics. In this position, the candidate will lead an independent project in the broad area of heart valve and heart failure biomechanics in large animal models, and also support 2-3 doctoral student projects as a consultant. In this position, the post-doc fellow will receive extensive training in cardiovascular biomechanics in bench and animal models of heart valve disease and heart failure, providing a unique and robust combination of skills to pursue an academic faculty position in the future. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, and is willing to commit a minimum of 3-years.
