Post-doctoral Fellowship Position in Clinical Application of Cardiovascular Biomechanics: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic candidate to fill a post-doc position, with an emphasis on experimental and computational biomechanics. An ideal candidate for this position would have a PhD in a relevant engineering field, with previous published experience in structural/tissue mechanics using either experimental or computational techniques. Candidates chosen to fill this position will work on understanding the biomechanics of different mitral valve repair techniques in bench models, swine studies and from human patients undergoing mitral valve surgery at our institution.
