Cardiac regenerative therapies

We are using a high throughput model of myocardial infarction to assess the efficacy of different regenerative tissues to rescue a myocardial infarct. These regenerative tissue have the potential to induce angiogenesis in the infarcts, and act as long term implants that deliver drugs, viral loads or stem cells to the underlying infarcted region.
